Dressing in the morning is hard enough when you don’t have to stand in front of a camera and be your best self. Choosing what to wear for a photoshoot can trigger even the most confident fashionista to pull their entire wardrobe out onto the floor in search of the perfect outfit.

So if your nerves start to fizz when you think about what to wear, don’t worry. This is SO normal!

For those that are feeling this way, I thought I'd share some tips and tricks of styling for your photo session.

What SHould I Wear?

Try not to have multiple people in patterns. Too many patterns can create chaos in your images.

Stick to clothing in the same colour palette. Think neutrals and earthy tones. Instead of matching, you want to compliment each other.

No big logos. We want to see your amazing family, and if a big Nike symbol is there, thats the first thing your eye goes to.

Most importantly, dress for the weather! If it's super cold, dress everyone super warm with lots of layers. Warm kids are happy kids.
